Craig Baas grew up right here in Northern Michigan -- Cadillac, specifically. When he went through his own home buying experience, he was struck by how bad the listing photos and virtual content were for a market this beautiful. Properties all over Northern Michigan were being sold with dark, blurry smartphone photos when they deserved so much better.
So in August of 2017, he did something about it. Craig bought a virtual tour camera, started helping local realtors market their listings properly, and built MI Virtual Tours from a side hustle into a full-time business. It took off immediately -- because the need was real and nobody else was filling it at this level in the Northern Michigan market.
Today Craig runs a full real estate marketing operation offering Matterport 3D virtual tours, HDR photography, FAA-licensed drone video and aerial photos, walkthrough video, and floor plans. He also collaborates with his brother Jeff on video projects through their shared work with Montage Media Films.
The throughline from day one to now is the same: Craig is a Northern Michigan guy who wants Northern Michigan properties marketed the way they deserve to be.
